           To Whom It May Concern,

           Almost one year ago,  we began to search for someone who could teach us French.  We spoke with several friends in hopes of receiving a recommendation.  We spoke with several French language instructors.  Some friends suggested we contact AFEL INTERNATIONAL.  We followed our friend’s recommendation and agreed to use them for our language training.  It is with pleasure that I am writing to recommend AFEL INTERNATIONAL to you.

           AFEL INTERNATIONAL has proven competence in language instruction to us.  Elisabeth Marandet, who was our teacher, has taught us with skill, creativity and patience.  She understands our learning styles and needs and instructs us in a way that complements the way we learn.  Her experience in language instruction is evident.  We have received much benefit in learning French from such a competent and skilled instructor.

I have been learning French during the last few months under the tuition of Afel International's teachers.

I am a Professor of Management at an International Business School near Nice, and while I work in English most of the time, it is increasingly important to speak both business French and everyday 'social' French.

Dear Elisabeth,

        First of all, I feel terrible about not keeping in touch; however I just completed my finals for the conclusion of first semester and my applications are all sent.  I thought that you and Florence would be excited to hear that I did very well on my SAT French examination.  I felt so comfortable after all of the hours of practice I had spent with you two.  French class at school seems so easy but the course is interesting so I am keeping up my comfort with the language.  One of the things I sent off to all of my colleges was a picture of the glasses I made a 'la verrerie'.  More importantly I wrote my main college essay about my experience in France with glass blowing.  As you were a consultant with some of my short responses, I thought you might want to read it, so I have included it below.  I hope that every thing is going well with AFEL, and you are continuing to attract students as "interesting" as I was!!  I truly had an incredible time this summer in France. Anyway, I have to get going, but I hope that you can write back and say hey to everyone for me.
