The Film Festival of Cannes attracts the stars just as the MIDEM festival draws music professionals. Meanwhile, in Nice, the yearly Nice Carnival will enrapture you with its Battle of Flowers and dazzle you with its Light Parade and its fleets of  over 600 characters! There are fireworks on Massena Square every night during the Carnival. Menton also has its very own Citrus Festival, which displays astonishing fleets made entirely of oranges and lemons.
